Sara Sara Cupcakes

I always see other bloggers talking about Sprinkles cupcakes? We don't have Sprinkles here in Oklahoma City, but I gather that it's a chain, so you probably wouldn't see it featured on my blog anyway. Here in Oklahoma City, we go local and we go homemade. Sara Sara Cupcakes is just one of our cute little local cupcake shops that we love to indulge in, with two locations in Edmond and Midtown.

These cakes are actually pretty large. Instead of cupcakes, my friends and I like to call them mini cakes. Inside the house of Sara Sara everything is pristine and white, with little pink accent flowers on every table. Don't forget to grab a frosted mug for the milk bar. Strawberry, Plain or Chocolate milk is always better when your mug is frosted.

In other news, I am officially moved back home and out of the hotel. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night. Blogging will be easier to maintain now that i'm home.

Brown Butter Banana Strawberry Bread.

I snuck out of the hotel room to a kitchen I knew was free and baked this delicious bread I found on Joy the Bakers blog. I love that woman. Mostly because I can steal her recipes and she doesn't care.. but also because she's a hoot to read. Some of the most entertaining silly rants throughout her recipe posts you've ever read. She's Darling.

I'm taking this to ladies night with the girls tonight- and it's going to be AMAZING.
