OSU/OKC Farmers Market: instagr.am style

I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday!

You'll find that the majority of the things I post on this blog are promoting Oklahoma City and all of it's local hidden treasures. Today is a little bit the same, but a little bit different. Todays post is something that everyone can do to support local, no matter what community you live in. Do your grocery shopping local!
It's so easy, so great for the local community to support your local farmers, and also good for your body. No nasty preservatives and additives! Keep your body clean! I must admit, this adventure of shopping locally and organically is a new challenge for me. I can absolutely relate to anyone who may eat taco bell a lot (cough, every other day? ... sometimes twice a day?.. ) I know. I'm ashamed. It's so darn cheap though! My body is honestly taking affect.

Our friends Beau and Nicole (the friends of ours with the cute cats in love) have seriously inspired me. They've committed to shopping locally for almost one year. Beau was telling us this weekend how much better his body feels now that they're putting good stuff into it. I'm very much wanting to follow their lead in going 100% local. But it takes baby steps. My baby steps start with honey, peanut butter, and goat cheese. (what else is there? right?) :)

Enjoy some instagr.ams from yesterdays local farmers market! I encourage everybody to get out there and support your local farmers! Even if it's one baby step at a time!
(but seriously, start with the goat cheese, it'll change your life. yummmm)
