A change of Pace. Sam Lamb Photography

I've decided that in order to manage my blogging better, I will dedicate this blog to more personal matters. No, no... no need to worry- I won't bore you with the diary of events that is my every day life- Instead, Birds for Brains is going local. Shop local, eat local, buy local-- and document document document.

I feel like not only will this help with my blogging agenda- It will also encourage me to get out and shop local more (we have so many great places and talented people in OKC), but also to get me in the habit of using my own camera more.

My hope for Sweet Darlin' is to become a source spot for Oklahomans and it's visitors. Away from the "touristy" things (not that the bombing memorial isn't a great place to visit, it is) I would like for this blog, in a way, to be a bigger contribution for me to OKC's local goodies.

I also hope that you don't lose interest if you aren't from Oklahoma. I know a ton of people still think we drive horse and buggies, and have outhouses...
Sit back bird brains- get ready to see the wonders Oklahoma has to offer.

I'd like to start with a few photos of Oklahoma by one of our beloved local Photographers, Miss Samantha Lamb. Sam's photos are hanging in the local coffee and cupcake shop I work at. (more info on that another time.)

Enjoy Oklahoma.

Lovely.

You can see more waving wheat, banjos and picnics on the farm on Sam's FlickrBlog. Shop. and Twitter.

Enjoying Oklahoma yet, Sweethearts?
